I have some great and exciting news!!!!

Jason, my only son, met “the one” and I couldn’t possibly be any happier about it! He is set to be married tomorrow to Courtney, a lovely lady from Georgia. I am totally over the moon about the wedding as not only have I been working alongside Courtney (the most trusting future daughter in law) to realize the wedding of her dreams but most importanly I get to have a new wonderful daughter too!!!  Thanks Courtney and Jason for entrusting me with this milestone in your life !

Some of you may find it hard to believe that I still get excited over weddings, especially considering that I’ve planned and designed several hundreds of weddings over the past 2 decades,  but I still unabashedly get thrilled over weddings and everything about it! The romantic story behind a couple promising a lifetime of togetherness, flowers, wedding gowns, all the nitty gritty details, friends, family, and LOVE…what is there not to get excited about???

Tomorrow’s wedding is bound to be extra special as our families and lifelong friends from all over the world will join us to witness Jason & Courtney exchange “I Do’s” . This brings back great memories of my 2 daughters weddings 7 years ago. ( Yes! I planned and designed both my daughters’ wedding in one year!)  Kristin got married here in Cayman on April 2007 while Amanda got married in Lake District, UK on August 2007. And tomorrow, March 8th is Jason and Courtney’s turn!

In less than 24 hours from now,  Courtney will be walking down the aisle towards Jason and I’d like to take this time to thank  my Celebrations Team for all your hard work and dedication which has afforded me the opportunity to enjoy being the Mother of the Groom! Tomorrow is going to be a bench mark for weddings here in Cayman Islands and I am so glad that I have a great team to follow this through. I am so happy and blessed that I am in this very wonderful career of  making dreams come true!  To Courtney and Jason, congratulations in advance!

Here’s a sneak peek at what tomorrow is looking like. Can’t wait to share all the wedding photos later. I’m off to attend to my duties as MOG!!!!
