The Celebrations Team witnessed, planned and designed a beautiful wedding ceremony for Lindsay & Travis. We were delighted to work with this charismatic and beautiful couple.
Lindsay and Travis met through a mutual friend in March of 2016. Their first date was in April at a Sushi restaurant in Ankeny where they live. They met each other’s families quickly and knew that they would get married and spend the rest of their lives together very early on. They agreed on a destination wedding and so Lindsay and her mom and sisters planned a trip down to Cayman Islands to scope out resorts and find somewhere to host the wedding. Lindsay was under the impression that they would be engaged prior to that trip with her family so she wasn’t very happy when the time came and there hadn’t been a proposal yet. Travis surprised her by flying to Cayman and proposing at Kimpton Seafire Hotel and then they knew that they wanted to get married there as well.
Tell us about your experience in Cayman…
We had a fabulous experience in Cayman! Cassie was great to work with throughout the year, she was very organized, never missed our calls, was timely with her responses and followed through on everything that she said she would.
Having Cassie and her team there on the wedding day made our day stress-free! She handled everything that we covered and went above my expectations for the day of coordination and planning.

What was your biggest worry about having a destination wedding?
The cost for all of our guests and weather on the wedding day!
