The Dinner In White Event, an homage to the famous Diner en Blanc which hosts exclusive VIP dinners at secret locations across the globe. At the original Diner en Blanc festivities, a list of VIP guest are invited to dress in all white, bring food and furniture to the secret location and it ultimately culminates in the world’s most exclusive potluck picnic.
At the Cayman Islands version, per the “CaymanKind” way, all are included and invited to join the festivities without needing to bring their own food and furniture. Simply arrive looking absolutely fabulous in all-white attired and enjoy the magical evening about to commence. The delicious dinner is provided by Cayman’s high end catering provider, Mise en Place, while the decor if fully provided by yours truly, Celebrations Ltd..
Cayman’s Dinner in White is an event produced by Out Of The Blu Marketing and Epic Day Entertainment. Like the original event, it is held at a secret location within the Cayman Islands and March 11th marked the second year of the annual event, taking place in George Town’s Heroes Square – a town staple in the island and homage to its national and historical heroes, surrounded by the Island’s old time library and buildings.
Within this historic atmosphere complimented by tropical palm trees and an absolutely unreal sunset, Celebrations Ltd. was able to create a magical ambiance for the evening’s events with an all-white bar, tablescapes and centerpieces complimented by magical overhead lighting.
Entertainment included white henna application by Cayman’s Henna Artist, Shilpa; body painted models in stunning metallic artistry by the talented Bella of the Cayman Islands and hair artistry by Rock Gorgeous. Also offering entertainment for the evening, an incredible local dancer, Elena, performing a beautiful flamenco rendition – a professionalized art-form based on the various folkloric music traditions of Southern Spain. The evening was capped with a sparkler lighting followed by DJ Selecta Renegade spinning tunes to dancing the night away.
