Celebrations has been in the business of events, weddings, celebrations, flowers, laughter and joy for so many years now, that it’s second nature to us. It’s not a bad industry to be in – bringing happiness to clients from around the world; making their dreams come true; and creating memories that last a lifetime.
It’s hard to believe that we began as a one-person operation, based in the Cayman home of JoAnne V. Brown – an operation that has grown into an exceptional events company with multilingual, talented planners, floral artists and designers from every corner of the globe – yet we still offer that one-on-one personalized touch that has existed from the beginning.
Celebrations and JoAnne V. Brown, CEO, have been featured in myriad television programs shown in many countries, along with premier publications, news articles and indeed any media focused on corporate and social event planning, particularly weddings.
The Celebrations team simply eats, sleeps and breathes events. We’ll do whatever it takes, fly wherever we need to, and create miracles from scratch to exceed your expectations each and every time. We make the impossible possible and the impersonal personal, and picture perfect.
So let Celebrations take you on a magic carpet ride to your event destination. Just think of us as your genie in the bottle, with no limit to the wishes granted.
When it comes to amazing events and unforgettable weddings, you might consider JoAnne V Brown to be your fairy godmother. After all, she has been making wishes come true since 1985, creating unique memories for brides, grooms, and anyone who recognizes the importance of quality combined with a touch of magic.
JoAnne (or “Miss Jo” as she is affectionately known) was born in Jamaica and educated in the United Kingdom, but she has called the Cayman Islands “home” for most of her life.
Over the years, her large Caribbean family has hosted many VIPs, including Jamaican dignitaries, Hollywood celebrities, and even British royalty. It therefore came as no surprise to those who know this remarkable, personable and organised woman, that she would start her own events company. She had always shown a great deal of interest in designing and hosting parties, discovering a flair and talent for the business at a young age.
Her years of dedicated hard work, personally overseeing every event, have won her and her staff accolades from many of their peers. Thanks to her impeccable taste, eye for detail, and unprecedented personalized service, she and Celebrations have been featured in leading international wedding publications and media outlets, including The Travel Channel’s Weddings Away and the Style Network/E! Entertainment’s My Destination Wedding with The Knot, dazzling an audience of 58 million viewers worldwide.
JoAnne is a regular speaker at international wedding and event conferences, and was named one of 2010’s A-List Wedding Planners by Destination Weddings & Honeymoons.
Travel + Leisure + Romance magazine christened her the Fairy Godmother of destination weddings, probably because she always has her wand at the ready.
